The number of tourists in Cyprus has increased

According tothe Statistical Service, tourist arrivals in Cyprus have grown by 11% in June, reaching a number of 342,221 tourists, comparedto 308,219 in the corresponding month last year. On the basis of the results ofthe Passengers Survey, an increase of 0.6% was recorded in tourist arrivalsfrom the United Kingdom, from 111,156 in June 2013 to 111,792 in June 2014.

Arrivals from Russia were increased by 22.1%, from 96,618 to 117,960this year.

Moreover, a growth of tourists from Great Britain has been observed as well. This August tour operators are hoping to break last year's record!
