A lecture on the title deed subject has been fully booked within a week of its announcement

A lectureon the subject of title deeds which will take place early in December at theTechnopolis 20 Cultural Centre in Paphos has been already fully booked. Withregards to Nigel Howarth, a Limassol based property advisor, who offersindependent information for Cyprus property investors and homebuyers, thelecture will focus on many different issues related to the issuance of titledeed.

The president of the Cyprus real estate agents’association, Solomon Kourouklides, will also be attending the lecture.

The lecture will be given by Andreas Symeou – a formersenior officer with the Department of Lands and Surveys and will be followed byan open discussion where the audience could participate and ask questions.

Attendees will be asked to fill confidentialquestionnaires which will cover such points as: what type of property wasbought, the year when the contract of sale was signed, if it’s a new or re-saleproperty, is there a title deed for the property and the reasons for it notbeing transferred into the purchasers name. All the mentioned problems will bepassed to the authorities, so the resolutions of them can be proposed.
