From the 1st of July this year, theproject to build a marina and the arrangement of the port area of Larnaca willbegin. Recently, the Cypriot newspaper "Fileleftheros", issued astatement, from representative of the joint venture "Zenonos", thatthe preparations for the signing of an agreement between the company and theGovernment of Cyprus, is completed. The purpose of the group is to make theport available for large cruise ships (longer than 310 m).
Zenon will also provide land to developersfor the construction of residential units that will be sold on a 99 year lease.As well, the project will be upgraded room for passengers. «Zenon» plans are theconstruction of road from the Phinikoudes seafront until the roundabout port.Also part of the project is to create parking and shopping center. Note that touse the premises of the harbor and marina will pay to the State € 65 million.
