The Land Registry of Cyprus says that April is the second month when the total amount of contracts for the purchase of property stood at 311 compared to the 285 in April 2013.
Probably, this situation was happened because of the last years’ figures fallen following the decision of Euro Group to close the banks for several days.
Nicosia and Limassol are the main cities where there are the best numbers of sales rising by 97% and 28%. However, these increases were connected with the same criteria in Paphos (14%) and Larnaca (31%).
